Looks like Brassia. What species are native in your area?

Agree, Brassia. Fantastic to see it in situ, looking forward to updates. Is this on private property?

A Brassia indeed. It has begun to bloom. There seem to be quite a few species in Colombia and they look rather alike.

Wonderful, cant wait to see it in full bloom. A really nice specimen. Any chance you can describe the conditions like temps, light, and water?

Well the temperature varies throughout the day but an average would be 14 C. It's located on the edge of the forest facing east so gets the morning light and except for summer the environment is pretty moist since it is at 2100 meters in cloud forest.
