Default This is no Catt!

I got this plant a few months ago as a rescue. The tag says Pot. Hawaiian Charisma 'Hawaii'. I hate to say this, but this plant has been ignored by me. I was looking at the tag again recently, and it dawns on me that this is no Catt! To me it looks like something from the oncidium family
Here are some pics soon after I got it (it has lost a few leaves since because of the lack of a good root system).

So what do you all think it is?

Could also be a Brassia hybrid. Have you seen it flower?

Looks a lot like my Beallara, an intergeneric oncidium hybrid.

It looks similar to Prosthechea, too.

Prosthechea have their flowering spikes on the top of their pseudobulbs while oncidiums haves their spikes from the lateral base of the pseudobulbs.

Default Howeara?

hey Sara,

I bought a rescue NOID once and thought it was a mini catt, but dried up spikes where in the wrong place. Now that it has bloomed I found its a Howeara lava burst. These are pretty small plants so unless your is small, then I guess that wouldn't be it. But Oncs can have thick catt looking leaves

Hope this helps
