Went to our local nursery the other day and saw an orchid I fell in love with. Picked her up and to my disappointment there was no tag. Me and the bf decide we had to many noids so we were trying to stay away from them. Walked around trying to decide of I should get it or not. Decided to get it anyway. He told me we could name it Fred so it wouldn't be a noid lmao. Anyway we've looked online and think we may have found what it was. We are thinking wils. Aloha sparks 'Halloween'. What do you guys think?

I'll have to get pics of the whole plant later :-)

Took it to work this week so I could admire it, forgot I took a pic of it there. I'll still have to get a better one but hopefully this will do for now

It's lovely, and sure could pass for a double first cousin of the one you mentioned, but I couldn't say for certain. Looks very healthy!

Plain orange oncidiums do not seem to be very common, so that may make it easier to ID. Gorgious, by the way. I am fond of orange.

Howdy

If I may add my two cents, look up

Odontocidium Sunny Daze 'Hilo Bay'

and see what you think.
