Cymbidium maybe?
Default Cymbidium maybe?

Can anyone help me identify this orchid?
I think is a cymbidium. The first flower just open today, perhaps it is not finish opening. ( 3 photos #858 )

Thank,
Ana Maria

I looked at zygopetalum photos and description and it is a good match. First one I have seen. The plant was given to me at a Orchid store 3 months ago. The clerk tough the plant was dying. I guess it liked my glasshouse conditions: light and high humidity.

Yes agree with it being something like a zygopetalum. Really pretty!

Your orchid photos are beautiful, good hand with the plants and also with the camera. Great photos.
Thanks for the help.

I also vote zygopetalum. Is yours fragrant? Many zygopetalums are.

Thank you for pointing it out. Yes, it is very fragrant, like a rich perfume. I would not have notice without you mention it. My greenhouse this month is more like a pizza oven, in-spite of fans, doors & windows open.
I am looking forward to September when I can enjoy more time there.

That is very pretty. I'd be taking another trip to that gas station to see if they had any more. Thanks for sharing your pictures with us.
