Default Can anybody tell what this might become?

I found this, in much worse shape, at an estate sale (glorified garage sale ). It was not potted, just lying on it's side on a shallow dish. I grabbed it, and the dish, for 2 bucks! It's looking great, has a spike coming up, and I have absolutely no clue what it is. It's the next level of NOID!!!

I have to agree it looks like a cattleya. My cattleya has the same leave shape and texture. Can't wait for the surprise bloom.

I'm also guessing a unifoliate Cattleya. If it has a spike coming, you won't have to wait too long for an answer!

That's kind of what I thought but since there are so many kinds out there and this one is much more established than the other catts I have, I wasn't sure, it looks a little different.
Happy to see the spike! Can't wait for the surprise

Ooo-ooo-ooo! Found a second spike on this baby this morning! Yippee!
There are spikes on a few other plants too, I think the total is 7, so far.
2 on this plant, 1 on my B Little Stars, 1 on my Onc Aloha Iwanaga and 3 of my others (though I'm not sure which ones, but definitely either Pot Miya's Beauty Red Radiance or Blc Hawaiian Passion Carmela) are all shooting up with spikes!

Definately from the Cattleya alliance. Wow, lots of new leads developing, and more leads = more flowers!

I am guessing RED flowers.

Is that just a wild guess or do you know something I don't (which would be very easy ) ?

Actually I am guessing red flowers and that it is an Slc. NOID!

It could be an educated guess, or simply the idle typing of a madman at 8 am!

Perhaps something like this......pretty hard to tell from an unlabelled plant though.
