Identification suggestion
I thought I'd give some simple advice re: identifying NoID orchids.
For me, part of my enjoyment comes from identifying my orchids. As it turns out, all hope isn't lost when you purchase an orchid that is not ID'd. I tried finding pictures online but with those you can never be 100% because of subtle color differences and texture.
Often, the tags on orchids include general, useless and sometimes wrong --water with ice-- information on care. But, one other thing they usually include is the name of the farm/vendor.
One day I got it in my head to at least venture to the vendor/farm sites to see if the orchids they sell are identified there --they rarely are. Faced with this, I decided to use the contact information they supply to email their customer service directly. I have been successful in this.
I still have 4 more to identify this way and I can update if there's any interest in this but this will at least get you as far as the hybrid.
Something to think about.
