If the leaf blemish was not caused by water droplets repeatedly getting on the leaves, or a temperature related problem, then it is an issue with the roots. Roots on plants in the Onc Alliance are delicate. They're rather thin, long, and oftentimes branched in some of them. They are somewhat prone to damage.
The difficulty with diagnosing this problem is that many different causes of the blemishes manifest themselves in seemingly similar looking ways, making it tricky to pinpoint.
