A friend purchased a flask of supposed V. tricolor. This is the 1st to flower... Nothing like tricolor. Possible names please.
Btw, I've been very active in research & came up blank.

Could the friend contact the seller of the flask? Of course if it is blooming now, that was likely a few years ago....

The owner purchased the flask from Phuket Orchid Farm. They have no idea, thats what they know it as. Having seen some other examples of their 'named' orchids, I'd agree, they have no idea.
