It has a perfume like smell if that helps.

that leave in the background of the last picture looks more like some type of cat or laelia

Yeah the tips of the leaves in that first pic do look very Cattleya / Laelia like.

The other NOID looks like the beanstalks that grow if you hit the right brick in Super Mario Bros. Have you considered climbing it and collecting all the coins in the clouds?

it looks much like Cattleya Minerva, but with hybrids you can never be 100% sure

the other one... have seen it several times at the botanical garden.. don't knw the name... too odd for my taste,

I agree that the flower is NOT dendrobium. I'd guess something in the cattleya alliance.
The other reminds me of ancistrochylis (orchid) or one of the gingers.

My guess would actually be one of the mexican laelias (section Podalaelia). Orchids of The World - Laelia is a website that deals with these guys. However, it could also be a hybrid with a mexican laelia background. I dunno. Its nice either way though!!

The mystery plant is actually in the Baltimore Botanical Garden, it is an Elephant's Foot Plant...very unusual.
