I don't know what it is, maybe a oncidium, odontocidium or a miltassia? my guess is as good as yours. What I can see is that there is some shriveling going on in the pseudo bulb, which means it needs some water. I would dunk it in some water for about 5 minutes to help it hydrate.
Pretty flower!

Wrinkling does not always equal watering more...it may have been over watered and now the roots are rotten so it can't take up sufficient water...so be sure to check if the medium is damp/wet. It's an oncidium intergeneric. Too many similar hybrids to be sure...sorry.

Yeah, she got it from someone who didn't take care of it very well, so it's not in the best shape. :P I'll make sure to tell her to water it though!

Some older pseudo bulbs just do get wrinkled with age and don't plump up again. So long as the newest ones look plump, seeing some wrinkled pseudo bulbs does not always indicate a problem. It looks possibly like a Miltassia Royal Robe but without a tag you can't know for sure. They don't need to completely dry out before watering. Don't keep it overly wet tho or the fine roots can rot.
