Default Genus? Phal-like, Monopodial NoID

Can anyone give me a genus on this? I just got it as a freebie with no name. Based on the spike and floppy leaves, my gut tells me it's not quite a phal, or it's at least not a species I'm familiar with.

I think you're right! If you look at the tips of the leaves, even the way the two halves of each leaf meet up is the same.
