Default Another unidentified orchid from me

My mom just gave me this orchid, and it had no tags or anything else that identified it - mom said the lady she bought it from didn't know the name either, but she said it might be a Cambria.

It looks like Burrageara Nelly Isler but without a tag, you can never say for sure what it is unless the original grower can confirm it. Very nice and mine had a rather strong lemony scent. it is a member of the Oncidium group.

Looks like a Burr. Nelly Isler to me, too, but without a tag...
Is it fragrant in the mornings?

I don't know if it's fragrant in the morning yet - I just got it today (a couple of hours before making this thread, haha), but I'll get back to you tomorrow - it does have a nice scent to it, though it's subtle right now.

I would agree with the above thoughts.

As a note Cambria is a general name used for intergeneric oncidium types. Taxonomy will give each intergeneric a proper name for the combination of the genera it includes, but horticulture groups them all together as Cambria which gives no indication of which genera make it up.

It does smell Citrusy for sure, so I think you're all right. It's also perking up more and more, as it was a bit droopy when my mother bought it and gave it to me.

Thank you! My family knows I adore orchids, so whenever they don't know what to buy for a gift, they give me an orchid or two, haha. Apart from this one, they've also given me a white Miltonia with purple streaks, and a Phalaenopsis that has been dyed blue. They're awesome!
