Lion Star aerides?
Default Lion Star aerides?

Does anyone know what this is? The label just said Lion star. One bought from Thailand and fragrant. Assumed it was an aerides but could be wrong as this is a smallish orchid.

I'm guessing that it's Ascofinetia (now Vanda) Lion Star - Neofinetia falcata x Ascocentrum Sagarik Gold

Flowers definitely show Neof falcata influence. However, color is wrong for (NF x Sagarik Gold), as SG = Asctm miniatum x Asctm garayii (both solid yellow/orange).

Color pattern shows influence of an Aerides, with pink at the tip of petals & sepals. And, considering the flower shape, NF might be two generations back.

It might be Vanda Lion Star x Aeriedes ??, but without an original label we can't get any closer.
