Default Den ID Help Needed

This Dendrobium is growing in the middle of one of my Lignumvitae trees. It put up a spike that stuck out of the top of the tree, so attached is the best picture I could get of the buds. Since the den was blooming the same time as the LV tree was, there were lots of bees flying around all the flowers and so the Den was pollinated and has a new seed pod developing. I'm trying to decide whether to give the seeds a try, and thus would like to ID the Den. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't give you any advice on the name, but that is just way too cool!

I think so too. I've had this den several years. I hardly ever bloomed. So I put it up in the top of the LV tree. It latched onto the trunk quickly and starting sending canes up through the top of the tree to get to the sun. I guess it wasn't getting as much light as it wanted. these blooms lasted over 2 1/2 months.

Boy, do I love those flowers! Unfortunately, you have no way of IDing this hybrid, as there are thousands of look-alikes.

Thanks Weng. That is pretty much what I thought, but I figured I'd give it a try. And I will also give the seed pod a try. It will at least be a learning experience for me!
