Lovely!

It's not likely to get an I.d. - like Phals, there's just too many similar looking hybrids.

In general, large hybrid Cyms are cool growing - some may be warmth TOLERANT (don't require cool temps to bloom). They are very tolerant of heat, should be shaded during extreme heat.

How big are the pbulbs?

I purchased a cymbidium similar color and type but less white. They are full size and can get quite large. They need a lot more water than oncs and are heavy feeders. In many places with mild climes they are outdoor plants. They seem to take good extrems in temp. Where I live I will need to gauge the shade tree temps but it can get to 105 at least. It is also too cold here during winter to leave them out. Where you live matters. Oh, they need a deep pot. I think there are special deep but narrow pots for them. So far that is all I know, except they are a new orchid challange. If I totally love them I will get a few more. Yellow and white or pink. Nice!

Oh, yeah, there is a cymbidium forum here too. Check it out. If it gets hotter than 55 this weekend, they are taking a few hours of sun outside.

TY for the help.
For the first question the pbulbs are different sizes, I measured the diameter of one & its over 6". There are several in the pot with many spikes, And it's a large plant.
This is my first Cym. I live in Tx. so I was concerned.
I read the links ... very good and I'm on my way to forum right now.

When I do repot (in the spring) I thought I'd would get a large plastic pot & drill holes in the side.
Would that work??

I'm ready for nice weather to play with my orchids.

Gorgeous color!

That cymbidium (the same color) was in display with some sort of tree branches loaded with tiny pinkish white flowers ( as in apple or peach tress) as backdrop in my building entrance.

I soooo wanted to take the whole thing into my room. hahaha

Sounds like it may require the cool period to bloom.

I pot my Cyms in 1-3 gallon plastic nursery pots with drainage holes in bottom - it isn't necessary to have more.
