Pavli,
Could you post some closeup pics of the flowers? My first thought was also not an orchid (also not Aerangis biloba) and only flower pics will give us a definitive answer.

Confirming ChaseGhost.

Definitely Callisia, probably Callisia fragrans, a close relative of Tradescantia. Family Commelinaceae, not Orchidaceae.

No question about it.

Thanks for all the help guys!! Keep it coming! I did some research on the aerangis biloba, it looks very similar. Also I'm posting some more pix for you guys. I called my friend and got some pics from her plants to help out.

I think PaphMadMan and ChaseGhost's guesses are your best bet. I don't think you have an orchid!

Once the identity is solved, you can be glad to grow a simple or medical plant. Astonishing healing effects are attributed to this plant. It helps against a great number of afflictions in stomach, bowels, pulmonal problems, Bronchitis, skin troubles, even cancer. You can use it smashed, with honey, as an alcoholic excerpt. You can even feed your horse with leaves to prevent horse Arthritis.
No known orchid is such a miracle plant as Callisia. A small drop of bitterness is that flowers, if ever produced, are rather inconspicious.

I am most likely wrong. The spaths I have have the ridged leaves and come up from a bulb but grow more like a grass than a monopod.

The callista looks very similar.
