Hanging yellow and maroon/red orchid.
Hi, can you please tell me the name of this orchid, so I can take care of it. I received it in a pot, like any other plant.
If I googleimage it, I see it called with all kinds of names, but then on Wiki, it never corresponds.
Thanks!
Sergio

I saw a plant like this at the Bronx Botanical Gardens's orchid show. I do not think it is an orchid, that is about all I know about it.

I think it is Clock vine (Thunbergia mysorensis). Tends to get really big and occupies a lot of space but very pretty.

It looks to me like either a Gongorga or a Stanopia. Both have bloom spikes which hang straight down. Does the plant have pseudobulbs? Are there a pair of thin, pleated leaves? If so, it is an Orchid and probably either of these two genera.
