im having trouble identifying this orchid

is it a Oncidium? is it a Miltonia?

it had a flower spike and now has another

Oncidium normally dont flower just one time from a pseudobulb?

Looks like an Oncidium alliance intergeneric hybrid.

Some can get more than one spike from a pseudobulb.

Yes
it is nice to get two spikes, when older they will even bloom at the same time.

I suspect a Wilsonara with all those "extra" side leaves where the spike comes from. My newest Wilsonara acquisitions of the past four years do this too.

Try googling:

Wilsonara Wicked 'Red Head';
Wilsonara Vernal Aura 'Sunrise';
Wilsonara Red Stars 'Rayna';
Wilaronara Port Irene 'Rubenesque';
Wilsonara Aloha Sparks 'Edna';

But it could be others too.

I chose these because of the shape, color, lip shape, lip pattern, petal shape / pattern, etc.

Also, I chose these because they all have recently been introduced to the orchid trade / market in the past six years. These are likely to be your plant.
