ID of NOID Phals. that have no tags
Howdy Folks,
I have a few NOID Phals. that came from the big box stores. I realize many plants are very much alike. Just hoping that some of these are different enough that someone might be able to ID them. The lighting is poor but, the color is close to true. Thanks for looking and any help will work for me.

....a nice collection. Are these the $9.99 ones that are the subject of a video series on this Board ? ( e-z orchids and/or just add ice ? )
Tags/names are a nice-to-know and really only a have-to-know if you are going to breed or show.

Orchidsarefun, most of these are from our local HEB grocery. They were in 4" pots and priced at $9.99. Couldn't resist and blew $60.00 real quick. The others were mark downs from WM, LOWES, HOME DEPOT AT $8-9.

Oh wow... I think you did what I did the week I started growing orchids. I picked up a bunch of phals, right from the beginning. I have come to regret buying up a whole bunch of phals large phals that take up a LOT of space (I grow indoors, so space is a commodity), because I've found that I prefer paphs and oncidiums.
So... here's the thing: They can't be ID'd because they are hybrids. They're not species, so these phals have been cultivated in greenhouses and without a tag to tell you the parentage, you're never going to know how they got to be the way they are. There are probably sixteen different ways to arrive at plants that look similar to the ones you have. Sad to say it, but you'll never know for sure. Still, the blooms look nice. How are the plants? Do the leaves look nice and clean? What about the roots? Are they thick (about the size of a number two pencil) and green?

The plants look great, good leaves, roots and most were potted in bark, a few in spagham which I plan On repotting as soon as the blooms drop, problem is most are putting on new buds or spikes, so I don't know when they will get repotted. A couple have kiekis and that will be a new experience for me as I have never done that before.

I would repot them now, especially the discounted plants. They tend to get heavily watered (by that I mean abusively overwatered) in the store and I would almost guarantee that the media they are sitting in is water logged, and broken down and that there is some kind of root rot in the center of those pots.
A lot of people say not to repot plants when they're blooming because they will drop their blooms, but I have never had a problem repotting phals. I repot my phals as soon as I get them home. I almost always find some sort of root rot when I buy hardware and grocery store plants. This will progress through the entire root system and kill the plant if you don't get it out and get it dealt with now. Lost one of my favorites by not repotting it as soon as I got it home.
Even if they do drop their blooms now, the important thing is to keep the plants alive so they can bloom again next year, unless you intend to just enjoy the blooms and toss them out when they're done.
