Default Pink and Yellow Cattleya Noid

Would appreciate some help/comment on identifying this cattleya noid (my first request, but certainly not my last, ).

Having searched around, I came up with several possibilities, changing my mind each time I seemed to find a closer match. Based on some previous threads I have read, I am leaning towards an Lc. Frosty Pink "H&R"(?), am I even close?

The flower spike on the left, in the third picture, turned black and died, as did another. Both of these spikes took a long time to grow and grew long. The blooming spike in the picture grew very quickly and only grew several inches before flowering. I have one more long spike growning now, hoping it won't die.

Thanks for your help.

Thomas

You're on the right track. It probably has Lc. Puppy Love as one parent, as does Frosty Pink, but could as easily be Angel Love or John Tomaske or Bob Pusavat or several others. And there are other families of hybrids from crosses similar to Puppy Love too. As with any group of similar hybrids you can never be sure, unless perhaps you get it in bloom side-by-side with the same clone.

Thanks MadMan. Frosty Pink was what I first matched it against. Then read and found another possibility, and another....

Fun to research though, thanks for the feedback.
