What can this orchid be?

Hi everyone! I'm so excited, I found this spike with little buds today when I was watering and feeding!

The problem is I bought this without a tag so I don't know what it is.

It looks kind of like a Cattleya and yet, to me I think it could be a Dendrobium also!

Is there any way to be sure without a tag id? I have no idea, and there's so much info on the net that I've looked up, but, I'm more confused now!

and how long do you think before The buds mature and open?

Your plant looks like a Dendrobium. As to what kind of Dendrobium it is, that I cannot say, as I only have five of these plants. But your plant looks like one of my plants. Your flower buds have about a week more to grow before they open. When my flower buds were at your stage, it was about a week later that the first flower opened.

Perhaps some of our Dendrobium experts on board will opine further?

That's a Dendrobium for sure, but hard to be any more specific. Could be a Phal type Den. Those buds should start to open in a week or two. You should post a picture of the open blooms, and then it'll be easier for us to pinpoint what it may be.
