Gosh I know. I've been staring at it... contemplating how big it'll be when it's got more than one psuedobulb.

Me too... their selection can get pretty wide sometimes.

I see the same two over and over again lol...

I've never seen that in my TJ, although they do quite often carry brassidium in much darker color tone.

It looks like brassidium Shooting Star or Sea Urchin.
Whatever it is, brassidiums can grow along oncidiums, but since brassias take much more light, you can give it a lot of light for the best flower production in the future.

I had Sea Urchin but tossed it. The plant just got so big. Brassidiums are super growers. Multiply fast.

I downgraded to brassia hybrid (brassia with another brassia) that are a bit smaller, and the spike habit is more compact.

I wish I had all the space to try brassidiums again. The spikes are just spectacular on them, but too big for me.

Good luck!
I see the same two hybrids over and over again. A shelob looking hybrid (that I want), and a long thin brown one with some cream spotting.
This is the first time I've ever seen this kind. So I snatched it up without thinking.

It's huge. I'm going to have to figure that one out.
I would love to find a pure brassia around here...

I've seen Shelob once and the long thin brown one you described quite often in my TJ.

Shelob is rather manageable in size, but all other brassidiums are just monsters! lol

One last set.
All the buds have opened finally.
The very end has this ridiculously tiny flower. It's a quarter the size of the ones at the top lol.

Worth every penny.

Plus, with a monster like that guarding your house, you can sleep safe and snug at night

Indeed ... I'm still trying to figure out what the heck to do with it!
This monster is a keeper though!

That looks exactly the same flower as the one I have. I have one flower almost fully open with the rest about to open up this week, hopefully before I go away.

Is a nice plant.
