It's not at all unusual for ants to set up house in pots. It's not a symbiotic relationship or anything...just a good place to make a home.
I agree w/the Coel ID. BTW - many Coels have very hairy roots...nothing to worry about.

The foliage reminds me of Coel. pandurata or possibly a hybrid from pandurata.
