What type Dend could this be?

This was given to me by a neighbor who has a few attached to a tree.

He said they were there when he bought his house.

It had very short roots,like 3 inches long or so, and it looked parched.

Two canes had very light pink flowers, I think sun bleached almost, because the third cane's buds opened after it was here, and the flowers are darker pink.

I planted it in bark, supporting the unwieldy long canes with a tie to one of the hangers.

I guess it is a Dendrobium,but if anyone has any more info on it, I would really appreciate it.

I hung it there because since he said it was attached to a tree, I figured it would like that feeling instead of on a shelf.

I think it's a phal-type (phalaenanthe) dendrobium of some sort. Maybe a hybrid with some antelope (spatulata) in it, from the way the petals and sepals are shaped.

They require the same care.

It's very sturdy. It resisted the transplant, the potting and hasn't lost a bloom yet!
