Unknown Cattleyas in bloom
At least I think they are Cattleya's.
The one mounted on the tree branch is quite large, the blooms (there are 5 on a single spike) are maybe 3-4" across. The "canes" are around a foot tall or more, mostly topped with two leaves each (although some only have a single leaf). I have what I think is another specimen of this, growing in a pot, but it is a smaller plant (6" pot) and the flowers have a slightly smaller "purple" patch (will try to get a photo of it tonight)
The white one is slightly smaller, possibly 3" across the bloom, and an appropriatley smaller plant.
The red one is the smallest of the lot, it would only be 2" across, but it makes up in colour what it lacks in size.
The latter two both have two flowers on a single spike.
Once again, any thoughts would be appreciated as to what they are.
