Well I think I figured it out. This is Encyclia rufa. Known to be a Bahamian species but has also been found in Florida. The plant is an exact match and those nice little flowers are spot on too! Posting pics of rufa:

Encyclia rufa. A beautiful one at that. Enjoy it. I have about 20 species and a bunch of hybrids but I don't have a rufa in my collection. Enjoy it!

I really like that plant. That's a new one to me, very nice. I was trying to make it be a green form of Eulophia alta, too, but looking at pictures of Encyclia rufa that is clearly it.

Yes, now that it has bloomed and it looks so natural growing at the base of the thatch palm, I am so happy to have it. It's not one you run across everyday. Although, I believe Rubin has a couple available over at "Rubin at Orchids".
