While someone may eventually be able to give you and idea of what the onc may be, you will really have to settle for it forever being a NoID. There are so many similar looking hybrids out there, that a definitive ID is virtually impossible. Had it been a species orchid, then an ID with a high degree of confidence ... even a surety ... might have been possible.

That's what I pretty much figured. I think I'll just label it Sharry Baby with a question mark after it.

My own Sharry Baby looks rather different. Pic attached FYI. The labellum is almost pure white which seems to fit with the most common Google images of this plant.

Cheers,
Aus.

I know of Ruby Doll, which has less white than the pictured plant:

Oncidium Sharry Baby 'Ruby Doll' | Orchids Online

There are very probably other red variations out there.

But of course, when you cross two parents, out of 100 seeds you'll get a variety of different flowers...

Cheers,
Aus.

Mine is reddish with like a white "omega" (Ω) symbol in the middle on the apron. I imagine the coloring differs from cultivar to cultivar, but does anything else have the intense smell of chocolate? Seriously right now the flowers smell so much like a fine Swiss milk chocolate bar I want to eat them!
