When I saw 26 inflorescences, I was like, what the hell? how big is this phal??? lol

It's 29 inches high. I attach a pic just to give you an idea.
I think there were 6 or 7 more inflorescences but when I got it they were already gone. I got it from an old lady who said:" You take it.....otherwise she'll die like all the others I had!"

I think he was saying that "inflorescence" refers to the entire spike, and not an individual flower. So when he read the title, he was expecting 26 spikes

That last picture on the original post is a! may! zing! by the way

Yup......the inflorescence is the entire stalk. I made a mistake.
I made a mistake because in italian inflorescence (infiorescenza) is a group of flowers.
Now I know what a inflorescence is!
