Default Gift orchid no ID

hello

so here is the story. i Got this orchid as a gift.
It had no tag and i didnt know how to treat with her.
I watered it poorly and it almost died.
Wrinkled p.bulbs, small leaves you know the story.
Then i decided to repot it, i was watering it more regularly since I thought it is oncidium. and it gave me blooms. This was the first time I maneged to rebloom an orchid i was happy as a child

Now its developing new growth but i am still not sure how to take care of her.

Do you have any idea what is this orchid?
Maybe Odontocidium?
how should i treat her?
i water her once a week and i spray the surface with water at least every 2 days. i keep her slightly moist, but i dont know. I dont want to rot her.

Thanks in advance!
Gregor

It is an oncidium. Looks like some kind of Colmanara Wildcat to me.

Regarding care you honestly don't want my advice. I'm the oncidium killer.

It looks like it might be a wildcat variety or a tiger crow orchid

I'm not sure what it is but I am sure that you have planted the pbulbs too deep. The entire bulb should be out of the mix.
Its a pretty flower..

Well, yes. It is...both, so to speak. Colmanara Wildcats are inter-generic hybrids between the orchid genera Miltonia, Odontoglossum and Oncidium. While those three genera have their own specific culture needs, I think we normally say that most of these onc intergeneric hybrids can take more or less the same kind of care.

And regarding that care, I'll let other members advice you.

I agree with you.
i just fixed that. now the whole pbulb is out. the roots are small but look fine.
I am happy i did that. a quick check of the roots is good for me. Now i am more calm knowing i am doing something right

We often use Oncidium to refer to a group of orchids rather than just the genus Oncidium. There are several genera which bread easily with Oncidium, and as a result there are a lot of intergeneric hybrids. Colmanara Wildcat is one such intergeneric hybrid so people will often refer to it as Oncidium meaning the Oncidium types rather than the just the Oncidium genus. Care for this group is relatively similar with just slight differences, so Oncidium care is a good place to start.
