I've been told that these plants benefit from 'vanda care'. High light, lots of water. And that they like something to climb on, or at least support it while growing upwards.
How do you grow yours? You obviously cracked the code since it's flowering!
I have the orchid just hanging on my fence. It was mounted on what looks like a bundle of twigs. It was a very pleasant surprise when I saw the first bloom. There are three more coming soon too! It has early morning sun and filtered sun through the afternoon. I may give it something better to climb on after this bloom but I am sure living in South FL has more to do with the health of the plant then me!
