New zygopetalum! Male
Default New zygopetalum!

Today while in Trader Joe's I spotted this guy in the corner.
Or smelled rather...
He was in the $7.99 mini orchid corner. Where they keep paphs and the like.
Clearly mislabeled. The pot size is a $12.99 orchid.
I told him if he didn't say anything at the register I wouldn't lol....
I count 4 new growths, 4 flowers, 5 buds, and a developing spike. Not bad.
The fragrance is pretty great too.

Nice Find! I have Zygo Advanced Australia from Trader Joe's. Occasionally I find ones with tags! Mine is healthy and happy a couple years later and is a very liable bloomer. Enjoy!

I have one that came in a plastic Baggie from Lowe's and it is doing really well outside in partial sun. You are lucky to get so many blooms!

I've found one's with tags
too! Amabilis, dendrobium kultana fancy... some others that I'm forgetting the names of.
I hope mine does as well as yours.
