Need Help Identifying
Default Need Help Identifying

Hi

I started working in this office with quite a few different plants around. Some are identified and some some are not. I am pretty sure this is an orchid but have no idea of anything more. I am new to orchids in general, know very little about them, but would like to be able to take care of this little guy. All Im really looking for is if someone can tell me the name or type of orchid (if its even an orchid at all) which would help me to research things further and if anyone has any advice or input that would also be hugely appreciated. Thank you so much for your help!

Yes, Dendrobium, phalaenanthe type - affectionately known as Den-phals, but no relation to Phalaenopsis, other than both being orchids

Agreed, looks like a Dendrobium, of the Den Phal type.

Den's have a wide range of care, but I care for these similar to Phalaenopsis with maybe slightly more water. They do like brighter light in the summer though. As with most orchids avoid direct light though.
