Default Can you identify me?

I've had this one for decades. I have NO earthy idea what he is. Do you? He blooms in the winter...lovely pink flowers cover him!

Here are his flowers...

I'm just guessing here, but what about a brassocattleya (or brassolaelia) Morning Glory? Or something very closely related, at least?

I'm suggesting this because Discus (an OB member) recently had a blog posting his blog with a flower that looks pretty similar to this one.

There are some clones of Bsn. Maikai that look very similar, too. But that's probably the B. nodosa influence (Morning Glory = B. nodosa x C. purpurata, Maikai = B. nodosa x Gur. bowringiana).

Nice, whatever it is. My wife loves that flower form.

It seems too pink to be Bc. Morning Glory, although I've only seen one example of the variety. Certainly, as others have remarked, the B. nodosa influence is strong in whatever it is! Although you can't get a definitive diagnosis this way, you can probably explore all the hybrids of B. nodosa in something like OrchidWiz, although not all will be pictured, and not every cross is registered... (one reason I find unlabelled plants scandalous!).

My
Bc. Morning Glory also has a lot more patterning on the flowers.

A quick ferret around google images suggests that patterning is common/normal - search for Bl as well as Bc Morning Glory (it was Bl until quite recently).

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! With at least a start, I may now be able to find it! You are all so helpful and I appreciate it!
