tolumnias and cattleya

hello, i just bought this plants, but only manage to go as far as genre. would you help me with the species.

I think the Catt is a Laelia, but I am not an expert! The Tolumnias will be difficult to identify further.

I am thinking Cattleya intermedia, but that's just at a glance. Some more experienced with Cattleya species can chime in. No idea on the tolumnias, could be hybrids?

laelia purpurata I think. The cattleya intermedia petals are cleaner around the edges, the column is more frilly with a pronounced stigmatic surface. laelias are kind of ragged looking overall to me as compared with catts and the column more opened up to the stigmatic surface. The flower shapes are very bad in the laelias to my eyes where as the intermedia has beautiful carved petals.

the tolumnia's could be anything. Theres so many hybrids I dont even know if they are even tolumnial any longer.

The Cattleya is not intermedia or purpurata. It looks like a forbesii to me. Maybe a primary hybrid of forbesii.

It does look like C. forbesii, and here is a link to a gentleman's flicker page that shows C. forbesii caerulea which is a very close match - most forbesii varieties have a lot of yellow in the throat, with exception to caerulea and a couple others.

Also, and this is only a suggestion, not a criticism at all, but if you could include something like a ruler or some other object to give a size reference, it may help - photos can really be deceiving in the appearance of sizes for ID purposes.
