This is my friend’s orchid. I sure it’s a species, but don’t know the ID, even what genera it belongs to, either. If any of you can help to identify? Thanks a lot!

Yes, or Prosthechea livida / Pollardia livida/ Anachelium lividum, for a survey of taxonomic treatments from this century. Prosthechea is used by Kew/RHS so I'd go with that.

Good closeup on your first picture too.
This was the very first species orchid that bloomed for me some thirty years ago, when I started growing orchids and a friend gave me some divisions and backbulbs.
