Please help identify this small orchid
Bought this from my neighbourhood vietnamese grocer, who insists it is from Vietnam.
If any of you can help me to identify it, and shed some light on how it likes to be treated/what special needs it might have, I'd greatly appreciate it.
It stands about ten inches tall, and the leaves are two toned, lighter at the edges.

That is definitely Dtps. Sogo Vivian 'Variegated', I have one and love it, even when it's out of bloom the leaves look beautiful.

I agree! With most phals it's nearly impossible to get an ID, but this one is a variegated Phal Sogo Vivien without a doubt!! Great find!!
And FYI, it's not actualyl from Vietnam, it's a hybrid.

It is a Phalaenopsis hybrid that was probably cloned in Vietnam, but it isn't an indigenous species to Vietnam.

I wouldn't think that any I.D. beyond genus would be possible ... but, I'm not an expert ...

The lab would cost more than what you paid for the plant and won't get you any closer to an ID than you already have. Probably Phal Sogo Vivien or a hybrid made with, but without a tag it will always be a NoID. Just grow it with your other phals and she'll do just fine.

If the plant flowers and it isn't a hybrid you might be able to get it identified, if it isn't obvious at that point, but a flower is required. If it is a hybrid all anyone can do is a good guess. Why do you think it is mislabeled?
