Almost everything was NoID and covered in scale...

It may be Angraecum distichum or a similar species (there are some which are pretty similar looking and I wouldn't be able to tell them apart).

It could be the distichum or Tol. sylvestris or an Onc I can't for the life of me remember. The Tolumnia and Oncidium are both high light plants but the distichum is low light and lots of moisture.

Good luck with it - hope you can ID it later.

The guesses are all good ones, but the main thing is that you keep it separate from other plants if there's any chance it had scale. Scale can spread quickly.

It's pretty hard to tell from the photos you provided, but I don't think more pictures will help. You may just have to wait until it flowers, but if it likes the brighter light by all means give it that.

It does look a lot like a Dendrobium. It's very difficult to tell without flowers. Dendrobium is my best guess for now.

A number of orchids look like this, and they are in pretty obscure genera. If you got this plant fairly easily, it may not be within these oddball genera.
