Picked this up for $10 at an orchid society meeting, from the members sale table. The vendor told me what it was, and the name went in one ear and out the other. I won't see him for another month, so I was hoping to at least land in the right ballpark with the ID. Here are some photos.
Good drainage, intermediate to warm temps, some fertilizer and regular watering, but having said all that, this is one easy orchid and will take just about anything you throw at it.
Rowan is right that only flowering will prove for sure what it is, but M. tenuifolia is so common that it's the most likely ID for this plant especially considering that you got it off the members sale table.
I agree, in all likelyhood it's Max tenuifolia since it's such a common orchid in collections. I'll also had that it really likes water in the warmer months, it seems pretty hard to overwater this one.
