Default New mini oncidium.

This oncidium was smiling at me from across Trader Joe's. It's smells like vanilla and.... cat piss up close I guess. Kinda.... mainly vanilla...
It's tiny and the picture doesn't show how vigorous it is.
It has at least a dozen new growths....
Very small. Not add small as my other mini oncidium.

It is oncidium Twinkle. I don't kow how accurate the color is presented in the pictures, but the color is very unique! I've only seen pure white with yellow center, yellow of different shades, pink/red of different shades.
Yours is light yellow/green. How interesting!!!

Yeah, Twinkles are very vigorous and easy, and delightful!!!

A twinkle? The last oncidium I posted was identified as a twinkle... but the plant is much more compact with smaller flowers than this one.. And the flowers themselves are shaped differently... hmm....
There was a lot more debate over the other one than this one so the other one must be something else...
I have to admit.. from a distance it comes across as a light buttery color so I had to go compare the photo next to the plant look.
It's actually more green than in the photo... which honestly isn't something I noticed when I bought it.
Exactly what I was looking for. Something delightful and vigorous.

This is probably Gold Dust, not Twinkle.

Twinkle = cheirophorum x ornithorhynchum
Gold Dust = Twinkle x cheirophorum

I have to say... a Google search reveals a lot of plants that look almost exactly like mine... it also showed me a lot off plants that were a lot more gold than mine... do they vary in saturation from plant to plant?

Its a beautiful flower, I find google a bad place to do a search, when I find what I'm looking for, then I want every thing else I see
