I made sure they know better than to move them now. I had some hanging from the apple tree in the back and he used to his his head on them when he was mowing the lawn (look up stupid) and he would freak out. He told me once that if I didn't move those ones and he hit his head off them one more time that he was going to throw them over the fence. I told him (and my landlord) that if he touched any of my plants I would rip his nuts off as shove them down his throat. That was the last time he said or did anything with my plants.

Yes I love the idea of a full sleeve. I got a tattoo covered up with a cym flower and a banner below that said "nanny" (what I call my grandmother) when she has heart surgery and that's what gave me the idea. I have some other tattoos I'd like to get but they wouldn't fit the theme of the orchids and they are more meaningful, one for my sick uncle etc. so I decided that my left side is for my loved ones and the right side is decoration

LOL, I don't blame you for your response. I would be furious if someone said something like that to me as well.

I can't be of much help either other than that I know it is cattleya of some sort for sure.
Really nice save, by the way!
Look at that head of buds! I'm amazed actually!

I've never ever seen so many buds on a single stem on a cattleya.

Burning a little really pays off I guess.
I heard strongest possible light just short of burning (or some minor burning) brings out the best flowering on orchids.

Can't wait to see this plant in full bloom!!!

Good save there!!! Brings pleasure to my heart knowing others try and keep the poor and downtrodden alive and make a purse out of the proverbial sow's ear. Ugly duckling to start and now a beautiful swann. Good job. Yes a laeliocattleya. Could be one of a dozen hybrids. Just enjoy your beautiful swann. I had a big Rechara that I liked very much. Sold it dang it. I like the big catts and cousins.

Bummer to sell that one. I couldn't have imagined so many large fragrant flowers when I picked up this little lady. It seems to be blooming season in my house, catts, dens, phals, onc among others all blooming at once. It's lovely. Walking from one room to another and seeing a different show in each room. I'd have to say the bathroom is the place to be right now

Well guys. I'm pretty sure I found it. I think it's an Lc Tristar Bouquet. Looking at pictures, all the little details that I had a hard time getting on camera are all in that flower. The sepals that curl back, the darker strip on the dorsal sepal, the white at the outer base of the flower, the touch of light at the tip of the petals and the lip. The wine colour that I couldn't capture on camera. Even the plant itself. I'm certain that's it
