cattley-wot?
Any ideas on the name of this flower? I LOVE it, and the pot - to me - even has character with the fern, clover, mould, etc (don't want to repot so soon..)

I love the colours, the size it grows to, and the ease of care.. .
I'm not sure if it's a cattleya plain and simple, or an LC or a BLC (wow..too much reading!)

That's a beautiful little bifoliate cattleya. I love the color. I don't know the name. The way you have it in that old pot with the moss and the ferns growing out, it looks like a real work of art. Excellent job of growing.

Thanks Tucker
I do consider it a "work of art" in its own way, so much so that I "worked" on a pic of it and ended up with this:

Where I can see a sailship, with masts, sails, rudder, crow's nest - even a seagull in the air. OK ok , maybe I wander off at times...hehehe

Probably the natural hybrid Guarianthe x guatemalensis, or the man-made version of the same cross, Guarianthe Guatemalensis. Gur. aurantiaca x Gur. skinneri in either case. The members of this genus used to be considered Cattleyas. Might be some other similar hybrid.
msaar was on the right track with Cattlianthe Caribbean, but I think this is a pure Guarianthe, not a Cattleya hybrid, based on both plant and flower form.

I don't disagree with Guarianthe Guatemalensis. I just thought of Caribbean first.
