Largeish orchid with pseudobulbs and yellow, star shaped flowers.
i have this orchid about which I have absolutely no idea of what it is. It is about 18 in (46 cm)tall at its highest point, including pseudobulb, and has largeish, yellow spotted, star shaped flowers when in bloom (Which it isn't), it has a new pseudobulb coming, and has fairly pale green leaves in the north facing window which it sits in. Any ideas? Here are pics! Whole plant, close up of pseudobulbs, site of new pseudobulb.

My guess from your description of your orchid it's probably an Oncidium alliance - likely an intergeneric hybrid, or maybe Brassia (spidery blooms) - but really impossible to say without a pic.
I Googled it and Mr Google is pretty darn sure it is an Odontocidium Tiger Crow "Golden Girl". That would fit with your description of an oncidium hybrid, thank you!
