Default Not Rustic Spots

Bought this recently tagged as Blc Rustic Spots.

Do you agree with me is not that!

I know it comes in various colour and with varying numbers of spots but the lip does not look right at all.

What do you think?

Doesn't really look like Bc. Rustic Spots, but a cool flower. Maybe similar breeding to it though. The lip is kinda like it.

Picture quick fix.....edit post, open pic, save pic to desktop, open pic in windows pic gallery, rotate image, upload pic to post, delete previous pic, submit edited post.....simple and quick!

You would have thought wouldn't you
Can't edit posts on tappatalk (not that I've found anyway) and however many times I used the phones pic editor to rotate the photo tappatalk still posted it sideways. Oh well!

I didn't think the lip did much look like Rustic Spots from all the pics I can find. They are all more trumpet like. Wish I knew what I had got. I might try and connect the nursery it came from see if they have any idea.

I still don't think it's Rustic Spots but the flower colour has changed as it's got older, deepening to a richer colour.

It's a really pretty flower, just wish I knew what it was.

There was a second bud, but it blasted while I was on vacation in mid July. At first I thought it was the first flower that had closed and the second open, but on closer inspection realised the first flower was the one still open and it was a blasted bud.

Could it be a seed grown plant? That would explain the lip difference.

Rosie- You can edit your posts in Tapatalk. On my iPhone, I touch/click my post and a box pops up that gives you three options. One option is More. Click More and a list of other options pop up. Click Modify and another box pops up that says Edit. I hope that helps!

Yeah, Jerry yours is more like I've seen elsewhere.

Wynn, do you think it could be that much variation, almost every feature looks different to me, rounder petals/sepals, different shape and different pattening on the lip. Not sure I can see anything the same apart from it being a Catt Alliance

Thanks for the tip on Tapatalk, I did find it in the end though in a different place. I get moderator options which it seems moves the other options around. I have to go into moderator options on my own posts to find the edit options.

I don't know if sibling plants can have that much variation. I just threw it out there. It doesn't look like Rustic Spots. Can you contact the grower and maybe email them a pic of your plant?

I didn't know Tapatalk was different for Moderators. I'm glad you found it though.
