Would you please identify the species of this - I'm pretty sure of the genus - sobralia - but please let me know what it is, if not.

These are very hard to identify due to similarity with other species and variability among its own.
Do you know where it came from?

S. Warszewiczii......maybe crossed with Kerryae, or jut a pale Warsz....although I couldn't imagine breeding a flower that only lasts 48 hours.

Only information is the photographic capture site, Lankester Garden in Costa Rica, March, 2011. Do not know where the actual plant came from.

Have tried to communicate with Lankester on related subjects, in the past, without much success, but will try again

FOR ALL: If someone has a good contact at Lankester, please send it along.
