Dear all,

I have found these what I believe to be orchids in a some woodland I was walking through with the wife. I took some pictures of them as i thought they were beautiful. However i have tried to ID them but unfortunately I can’t seem to find much about them.

Please see attached pictures your help is greatly appreciated

Those are beautiful flowers, but not an orchid. I'm sure someone will be along with more information on what it is.

No definitely not an orchid! It's a type of Lamium; Lamium galeobdolon. probably the subspecies argentatum, which has silver markings. Also called Lamiastrum argentatum, not sure which is the current name. It's very common in Europe, as is the white Lamium.
Funny you post this because just this afternoon I was pulling up white Lamium that was invading my vegetable garden!
