You REALLY need to hang onto labels.

It is very difficult to ID some species from the blossom, and almost impossible to do so with hybrids, as there are so many that look similar.

Cattleya Leilani was registered in 1948, and was not used in any registered hybrids - suggesting its relative lack of importance in the orchid world - so the likelihood that your plant is that hybrid is extremely low.

Hi Ray

Thanks very much for your help.

Unfortunately the orchid vendors here do not put labels on the plants, they can give me the Thai version of the name verbally but finding out what the Latin version is can be very difficult.

Once again many thanks, this enables me to gather the information required to correctly care for the plants.

Cheers
