A dendrobium. I am not well versed in those, so maybe someone else will chime in.

You REALLY need to hang onto labels.
It is very difficult to ID some species from the blossom, and almost impossible to do so with hybrids, as there are so many that look similar.
Cattleya Leilani was registered in 1948, and was not used in any registered hybrids - suggesting its relative lack of importance in the orchid world - so the likelihood that your plant is that hybrid is extremely low.

Hi Ray
Thanks very much for your help.
Unfortunately the orchid vendors here do not put labels on the plants, they can give me the Thai version of the name verbally but finding out what the Latin version is can be very difficult.
Once again many thanks, this enables me to gather the information required to correctly care for the plants.
Cheers

The one with small bluish flowers looks like Rhynchostylis coelestis or possibly a hybrid with that contributing most of the parentage.
The long, canelike pendant Dendrobium (4th post) is probably either anosmum or Nestor (parishii x anosmum). Can't help much with the rest, beyond to say I agree with Ray. Pretty plants and good luck!

Thanks for the input guys, it's invaluable. Ramon I think you are right on all your picks after studying the flowers more and looking up internet pics.
FYI:
Den Nestor is sometimes also caled Nagata here. This is Thai for Dragons Eye.
Den Daeng Sa Ard also has another meaning. Daeng is Thai for red and Sa Sard is Thai for dirty. So basically they call that one dirty red.
Omyai also means something, yai means big, just not sure about the Om
PS - What does the Lc stand for on the minicat?
Many thanks once again for you help.
Cheers

Lc means Laeliocattleya. Laelia x cattleya hybrid. Beyond Ray's genus ID's like Dendrobium, Phalaenopsis, and Cattleya, I wouldn't take those hybrid names as 100% correct. Like Ray said with no tag the best you will get is what genus each plant is in. You won't be able to know for certain what hybrid they are unless you have a tag. Its almost impossible. So orchids with no tag or name is called a NOID (no ID). There are just too many out there to know for sure. But knowing the genus of the hybrid will be enough to know how to care for them. Good luck! And welcome to OB!
Oh and those Thai translations are interesting!

I'm hoping to come to Thailand in September!!!
I'm a beginner when it comes to orchids. My husband and I are planning to come to Thailand this september. We're going with a group of palm forum members (including my hubby who's a bit of a fanatic with many palms and crotons and other plantings around our jungle with a house), but I'm more interested in orchids. Any suggestions about what to keep my eyes open for when I visit? Where in Thailand do you live?

Hi Debbie
I live in Chonburi about 90 mins drive out of the capital Bangkok.
There are so many places for you to go looking for orchids here it's insane - both wild and domestic. There are jungle regions, mountain regions, very hot regions and colder places with larger day/night temp variations - Thailand is a lot larger than people think and the opportunities for wild Orchid hunting are endless. As for palms I never knew there were so may until I moved here - I must see a new phenotype every coupe of days - there are about 10 different ones in my garden of which I can identify none!
However if you want to make it a bit easier on yourself than wild hunting you and your husband MUST visit Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens. It's about 15 minutes drive from where I live in Chonburi and it is truly spectacular - easily the best I have ever been to. Orchid and palms galore plus a whole bunch of other weird and wonderful stuff and they have a shop there too where you can buy plants ets - they may even sell orchid seeds. It will take you a whole day to get around and entry is 500 baht per adult (30 baht = $1).
Your other great bet is Chiang Mai, a short domestic flight from Bangkok. A lot of places up there that have vast garden centres with all sorts on sale. I believe there are also a couple of specialist orchid farms up there as well as plenty of old traditional Thai culture for you to look at - the hill tribes that extend their necks with brass rings etc... There is also a specialist orchid garden on the island of Phuket I believe.
Good luck with your trip and please feel free to message me on the forum if you need any more advice/help.
Thanks
