A possible ID - Phal Sweety Sigrid

One of my NoID:s that has been giving me a headache since it looks so very much like a Phal that should have an ID, might be on its way to achieve one. I stumbled across this hybrid, Phal Abudance, (with an unregistered name) by pure accident and THIS IS MY PAHL, or it's perfect clone at least - size, colour, everything fits, plus the fact that this nursery is one that delivers Phals to the vendor where I purchased mine, also contributes to the fact that I've found a possible name. But with an unregistered name, it's still a NoID, right? Yup, one of the things I've learned here is that this is so, BUT I've sent an email asking if the hybrids registered name might actually be Phalaenopsis Sweety Sigrid. A name I came across by accident today.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that I'll get a positive response, shall we?

My Phal. Be Tris looks like an exact match also.

Sorry, but that's not a match with Phal. Sweety Sigrid - compare the lips. Unfortunately, there are a number of Phal equestris hybrids that look like your plant, so if you can't get a positive id from the grower then just mark it as "Phal equestris Hybrid" and enjoy it.

If it's the P. Be Tris 'Zuma Nova' you write about in your blogg, I think the colour on yours is much darker than mine, also, the lip isn't "forked". As a matter of fact, none of the P. Be Tris I've seen a picture of, seem to have this "forked" lip as the "Abudance" and mine do. Also, the colour on the flush is darker on the ones I've seen. This is why I've ruled out P. Be Tris as a possible ID.

Let's see what the nursery have to say. It would be great to just get an ID for it really.

I know about the lip and this is what makes me a bit hesitant. That mine and the P. "Abudance" are a match is something I'm completely convinced about though. Add two more spikes to mine and they're perfect copies of each other.

Well, I've sent an e-mail, let's see what the grower answers.
