I know it's a longshot :-)
I bought the orchid from a nursery in Michigan two years ago, and after some beginner's mistreatment, it's finally recovered and rewarded me with a small flowering.
The flowers are 2.5 inches across, and have an odd sort of scent. It's kind of spicy/musky. I can't quite decide if I think it's pleasant or not. (edit: and it seems to be stronger at night)
As for the color, as you can see in the pictures, the color really depends on how the picture is taken. The first pic best describes the color as seen by the naked eye in indirect light. Under flash, or in direct sunlight, it looks very different.
So any guesses? It's my favorite of my orchids (partly because it has survived with me through 3 cross-country moves) so I promise I won't love it any less if it can't be named

.
If not for any exact hybrid name, then is there any more specific classification than 'oncidium' that I might narrow it down to?
