LOL! I've just been to an orchid show, and among the orchids I've ended up buying are 1) A mystery lycaste. I think your first photo may be a lycaste.
2) Prosthechea Radiata. Guess what I think your second orchid is....

The first one is Cochleanthes discolor, the other is Prosthechea fragrans.

Howdy
the second one is not radiata -- the blossoms are too large and too many stripes for radiata --
probably fragrans instead.

Try this link, and look both of them up, and see what you think:

Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia

take care
may all your orchids bloom like crazy!

The flower of #2 reminds me of Encyclia fragrens (spelling?). But don't assume it is. Look it up and see if it matches.

LOL... You know, I'm OK with being wrong. How else do we learn, lol... Honestly, I looked at mine in bloom right now and while it is somewhat similar, it's really no where near, ROFL...

Quite a knowledgeable group of enthusiasts here!

I agree with Bruce on them being cochleanthes discolor and prosthechea fragrans.

Thanks a lot for your help!

(I have a third orchid that IŽd like to ID but I'lll do it on another thread)
